Ryan Garbes is an experimental musician currently rooted in Minneapolis. He’s been shaping and influencing the sound of the weirdo Midwest experimental scene since the mid-00s with his work in seminal groups Raccoo-oo-oon and Wet Hair. His solo output takes that energy and fervor and channels it into busted rock jams, shambling along with infectious melodies and hand sewn songwriting. The tunes are carefully constructed and casually performed giving the songs air to breath and a loose, freewheeling feel. “Tabbed View” is his first album for Moon Glyph and we’re honored to aid him in his continued life compulsion to record and make his singularly personal and outré music.
